"I Need A Friend"
I think is a nice title for a film idea I have.
Romantic comedy guy goes around every day in different locations with the same sign, "I Need A Friend." Why?
Lonely.
Extremely lonely to the point where the has to beg for friendships.
On the back of cardboard sign is a list of his attributes and faults very similar to a Tohm Yorke photo shoot.
I think this creates a great archetype of a very pathetic, creative and lovable character. I think he was popular back in the day but his friends might have moved away and now he's looking to starting over. But he needs someone in return. Someone who's willing to take a chance on a stranger who advertises himself in a cute way.
I don't know. What kind of person would take a chance becoming friends with a stranger.
"We all start off as strangers. Then we get to know one another and soon enough we're best friends."
She's gotta be optimistic. Like, to the point where she's naive.
Anyway, good start.
